Walter Hunnicutt

Walt has a lifelong passion for music and the recording arts. Originally trained as a jazz pianist, he worked his way through college as a sound technician in live venues around Milwaukee and Chicago. Over the years, he built up engineering credits on a range of albums and CDs while working in various recording studios and radio stations.

Later, Walt’s love for teaching took him into the aviation world, where he thrived as an instructor and check-airman on everything from single-engine trainers to multi-engine jets. Today, he and his wife run Combined Minds Media, LLC, a Midwest-based company specializing in instructional media for the music and production industries, working right from their home studio.
